my dear donors, i would like to begin my SCM RECIPE BLOG with a present for you –
my friends love my BEEF CURRY PUFFS. this is a easy to prepare aperitif snack
250 gm minced beef meat
2 teaspoons turmeric
2 teaspoons madras curry powder
1 beef stock cube
1 medium red onion (diced in processor)
2 medium fresh garlic (diced in processor)
2cm fresh ginger (diced in processor)
2 medium fresh red chilli (diced in processor)
1/2 half a tea cup veg oil
1 egg yoke
500 gm pre made dough – puff pastry (super market)
heat the oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat and the processored spices, onion, garlic, ginger, red chilli, turmeric, curry powder and fry for 10 mins. add minced meat and beef cube and fry for another 10 mins.
remove from heat and allow to cool.
cut pre made dough into forms of 6cm in width fill each form with half a teaspoon of cooked minced meat and fold. brush it over with egg yoke.
place on baking pan and bake in oven for approx. 10 mins. (till brown)
